Well? See for yourself. Manny Pacquiao pounds Miguel Cotto at 9th round. Forcing Cotto’s coach to stop the fight. Winner by TKO: Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao acquire his 7th WBO Welterweight Belt. Miguel Cotto’s lost to Pacquiao vanished his record to 34-2-0 while Pacquiao gains a remarkable 50-3-2 boxing record.
That is definitely going to be the result between Pacquiao vs Cotto’s fight this coming November 14, 2009 in Las Vegas MGM Grand Arena. Haha! Of course, I am biased in favor of our very own Filipino Boxing Champion – Manny Pacman Pacquiao.
Yes, I know Miguel Cotto is a very tough, strong and explosive boxer but Pacquiao will absolutely out box him thru his SPEED and POWER. I saw Cotto’s last fight against Clottey – he was very slow and easily hit while Pacquiao is getting faster and powerful in every coming fight. Look at Pacquiao’s 1st or 2nd fight with Marquez; Manny didn’t fully utilize his right hand potential power or perhaps it wasn’t developed yet. But Pacquiao’s last 3 fights? It just prove that his right hand has as much power and speed with his left hand. Hatton KO was caused by his right hook punch. LOL.
Anyway, this Pacquiao vs Cotto boxing will be a good fight. This is the kind of fight boxing fans really wants to see. It aint going to be so easy for the pound 4 pound champion – Pacquiao and for the strong heavy handed welterweight champion – Miguel Cotto . Only The-best against The-best. Kudos to the real champ who will win this fight!

my predictions weren’t 100% after all but Manny Pacquiao certainly beats Cotto putting him in vain.. Where are the PRO Cotto now? Cotto is bigger you say? He’s a stronger fighter now? The result of Manny Pacquiao versus Miguel Cotto fight just prove how strong and fast Pacquiao is.. He intentionally stop in the middle and let Cotto hit him.
What I liked with Pacquiao is they way he fight. He doesn’t use any dirty tactics. He fights clean and wins clean. But I admired tonight’s fight result between Pacquiao vs Cotto. They both deserve respect.

I love this Pacquiao Guy.. definitely the best boxer in the world today. And not to mention how humble he’s after the fight. Of course, sometimes in ring you need to show to your opponent or make your opponent angry to distract him. Win him psychologically. That’s what Manny Pacquiao did to Miguel Cotto a while ago..
Pacquiao Versus Cotto fight results: TKO at 12th round. Standing knockout. I think the referee made the right decision, there’s no point in continuing the fight knowing that Cotto will still be defeated in the decision.
I particularly love Miguel Cotto. He is the one that inspires me to go everyday to my boxing gym and train to box. Manny pacman pacquiao is a very fast boxer , and freddy roach (pacmans trainer) said that this is the strongest that pacman has ever punched throughout his career. Cotto is a much stronger puncher than pacman , and he knows how to box much better than who they call pacman. Pacman does not know how to box compared to Miguel cotto , he is just a boxer with speed and he does know how to connect with great hits. But Cotto is much bigger and tougher than pacman . Everyone should respect both fighters becouse of their great career . Thank you

If Pacquiao doesn’t know how to box, how much more the people he beats? lol.. He clearly won because he box pretty well. Timing is the key.
Pacquiao’s Team strategy was to let Manny Pacquiao get hit and do the lateral movement thing and counter Miguel Cotto. One of the weakness of Cotto, he punch wildly when he’s hurt and that’s the opening they waited for. See the left upper cut that dropped Cotto on the 5th round?
Pacquiao vs Cotto fight results was very clear – Battered Cotto. Maybe we should call Miguel Cotto “The Backwards Bicycle Boxer”. hehe.. Keeps on running just to survive the fight.
I have to agree with Jean Rivera . Miguel angel cotto is a much better boxer than pacman . Pacman is great and has alot of speed . But all pacman does is use his speed to find the right hit . Pacman does not have a great defense , and neither a fighting stance like miguel cotto . Miguel cotto is much stronger than manny pacman as we all know , and pacman is much faster than miguel cotto as we all know , but like I said Miguel cotto is a better boxer as in stance , power , and combinations . And yes I do know that Miguel angel cotto just lost to manny pacman pacquiao last night – 11-14-09 – but I still know that cotto is a great fighter , and has a great record of 32 wins-2 losses-27 by ko, compared to many boxers in the world right now he is going great in his career.

well i made a mistake.
pacquiao is not only faster but stronger than miguel.
miguel is strong but pacman is snapier and sharper than my guy.

i hate to admit this but i underestimated pacquiao.
he can beat mayweather no doubt.

in terms of stance, pacman is different from cotto.
cotto is orthodox while pacman is unorthodox southpaw. (meaning=UNIQUE!)
he has his own style. that is why nobody can read him because he has a different rythm. so dont tell me cotto has better stance. You fuckers are just used to seeing the boring pose of boxers everytime like in the book. Can miguel punch sideways. Never. I never saw him hit latterally. always straight or jab. While pacman can punch you even if he’s moving laterally.
Watch his fight against de la hoya and hatton. he boxed them geniusly.
the way manny moves is soo much incomparable and he moves a lot that is why you think he is rugged. But that was his key to punching cotto. cotto was very predictable.
You never learn and always underestimate pacquiao.
and did i mention pacquiao was in a whole lot of distractions from politics to typhoons and yet he made cooto eat his words.
stop making excuses. just give the credit to pacquiao.
and to cotto, move on. fight back there are still many fights left from you. but never on top like pacquiao. i know you know that.
